My 'sandbox' for design
' working with Interior Designer, Jule, was very enjoyable.
She created so many more areas in our home than we had imagined. We had an long hallway, and Jule created a custom vignette, with lighting, custom artist paint finish, and a built-in 'frame' that becomes a feature in our home, that we walk by and feel the energy.
We love cooking and cleaning in our kitchen now. She walked us through so many different materials, telling us the pros and cons of each. We ended up selecting a green limestone, which will patina over time. We love that we know how to care for each material.
Jule offer many resourceful and out of the box ideas for our light fixures and furnishings. We love that some of the furniture and fabrics are for commercial use, and not usually seen in our friends homes.
As an artist, I love that our home, my studio, is unique to us.
I love being home, entertaining and sharing our 'Gallery' of our lives! '

about me...
Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, I gained a love of the outdoors, healthy living and a passion for design and an active lifestyle. Initially interested in Fashion Design, I discovered Interior Design at an early age.
As a working student at CSULB, I was able to gain work experience in Landscape Design, Residential Interiors & Architecture, High Profile Commercial & Mixed-Use projects in Southern California.
After graduation from CSULB with a BFA in Interior Design and Architectural Design and 4 years design experience working in Interior Design and Landscape Design firms, I moved to Honolulu. I spent several years with Leo A Daly resulting in two promotions into a senior design role. Designing and managing multiple architectural and interiors projects, I had many return clients, and had expanded our local design expertise into the Hospitality Markets, which was new to their Honolulu office at the time. Additionally, I had designed and managed the first Collaborative Workplace, then called ‘Hoteling Concept’ office in Honolulu in 1999 for Price Waterhouse Coopers. This project earned my first ASID award in 2000.
In May of 2000, I was asked to join an up & coming local Honolulu boutique design architectural office to commence their interior design studio. Starting with quality Residential custom homes, I was able to combine my deep understanding for commercial materials and finishes to create unique, impactful projects for Hospitality, Retail and Luxury Residential clients. I discovered a natural talent and new passion to develop successful, and in most cases, award winning projects. These projects featured bespoke Interior Design, Custom Furnishings, Tasteful FF&E, Interior and Exterior Architectural Design, as well as Exterior Living Environments. I was able to complete projects from Concept to Installation on Oahu, Kauai, Hawaii, Maui as well as Japan.
After almost 5 years, I was asked to join a noteworthy international architectural firm to lead and develop their Interior Design Studio in Honolulu. I embraced this new challenge to bring diverse interior design to projects in California, Texas, Hawaiian Islands, Japan and Guam.
